[Tinyos-help] regarding moteworks error

Hello Akankshu,

I have never tried installing MoteWorks on a VMWare, but MoteWorks commands are very case sensitive. Try " make mica2 reinstall mib510,com1" and see if that helps. If you are using USB to Serial converter, the chances are that the COM port is different from COM1. You can check this from Windows Device Manager.

Hi Giri
I am having this problem. I am new to moteworks and have been trying to
work with this .
I use vista but found that there was no compatibility for vista so I
installed VMWare server and then installed xp sp3.
I then installed moteworks and the MyApp application was compiling properly.

I am using an MIB510CA sensor board and MPR400CB mote. I am using a
DX-UBDB9 serial to USB convertor to connect the board.
 After compiling I get an error message when I try to install using the
command :

make mica2 reinstall mib510,COM1

which looks something like this :
