[Tinyos-help] Command line help

Hello I wanted to ask about displaying data on a command line in tinyOS I'm having trouble understand the commands involved in showing readings on the command line. Also is there a way of doing it in the program rather than using the MOTECOM listen tool on the command line which is what you need to do on the oscilliscope program.
I also wanted to ask if its possible for data retrived to be written to a txt or doc file.
