Hi,

you can use a editor mode:

http://nescc.cvs.sourceforge.net/nescc/nesc/tools/editor-modes/

With these editor modes you can edit your nesc code easily on emacs, gedit,
kde and vim. Crossbow's platform Moteworks includes a plugin for Programmers
Notepad (Windows) that let you edit nesc code with syntax coloring.
