[tinyos-help]sensors network

hello ,plz i need any help  i could get   my project  is about  proposing a new algorithm for Rounting in a sensor network i should imlepement my algorithm in TINYos And do the simulation With TOSSIM ,  i have basicly 3 months ,is it enough , do i need more time??  cz i am finding so much diffucilty to  learn how to 
 
program with tinyos though i am not that bad in C++, 
 
is there any steps i could follow ?
