[Tinyos-help] Converting raw data from MTS310

The sensor elements on the MTS310 board are not calibrated at the
factory. Hence in order to convert the raw data into meaningful
engineering units, you will need to calibrate the outputs against a
known reference (eg. Earth's gravity for accelerometer). The temperature
sensor uses a calibration curve recommended by the manufacturer, that is
the conversion outlined in the XServe manual. For all other sensors, you
will have to calibrate them yourself based on the sensor vendor's
recommendation.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] Converting raw data from MTS310

Hi,

I have an MTS 310 sensor board on an Iris mote. Each sensor on the mote
returns type uint16_t and I wish to convert this to meaningful data
(force, temperature, Lux, etc). Is there a comprehensive manual that
explains how to do this?

There are a few manuals on the Crossbow website, but they do not explain
conversions very clearly. Nor have I found any helpful explanations in
the mailing list.

Thanks,

Matt
