[Tinyos-help] User Event Type

In TinyOS 1, I added function to TOSSIM in which I created my own event type and managed it on the event bus. Is there a way to do the same in TinyOS 2?  
 
I want to create a new type, add parameters and both add it to the event queue and handle it once it is signaled.
