[Tinyos-help] Is it possible for CC2420 to communicate with CC2430?

Now our project is based on telosB  which use cc2420 chip, and TinyOS 2.x.
But cc2430 is so attractive in terms of compact design and low cost. So we
hope to use CC2430 to build some simple motes. They merely send some packets
periodically. No acknowledgemet. No receiving/listening at all. and no need
to run tinyOS on it.

We hope these CC2430 motes could send the packet in tinyOS format (just the
same as that of telosb) which could be received and understood by existing
telosb motes. Is this possible? Could cc2420 receive and understand packets
from cc2430 chip?
