[Tinyos-help] Getting RSSI with CC2420 chip (telosb motes +TinyOS 2.0.2)

this mail is to be follow up of this thread [1]

I have the following questions

1) is the output of getRssi() is an eight bit 2's complement?
2) According to CC2420 datasheet[2], (RSSI / Energy Detection) it says there
is -45 Rssi offset. Does getRssi() takes care of it? or we need to subtract
it with the return value of getRssi()?
