[Tinyos-help] help:light-inspection application

hello everyone:
   I want to know if it is possible for a mote to do such following action:
    first(application1)
   make mica2 reinstall mib510,/dev/ttyS0
   and then(application2)
   make mica2 reinstall mib510,/dev/ttyS0
I think the  mote can only work as the application2 goal,it can not realise the application1 ,am I right?

Another question:
 I want to realize a light-inspection application . I want to sample the sensor reading and display the data on Pc .
 I need to sample nodes which I specified,not necessary all nodes.
 I think I need  at least four nodes:
 node0: install for BaseStation (serial communication with radio network)
 node1 node2 node3: install DYMO (mutihop protocol realization)
 pc: 
 is it ok?? 
The Oscilloscope application just forward its sensor-readings without considering the User order,so I need Dymo.But it is ok to install Tymo on node1 node2 node3 to do the job or need something different protocol??
