[Tinyos-help] need help:about the data link layer in tinyos

Hello all，
I am puzzled about the data link layer in tinyos-2.x。 The active message layer belongs to Data-link layer？
The frame  format is message_t ？ If so，can I change the header？ e.g cc1000_header_t ,I add nx_uint8_t seqno in it.Is it possible?
second question:
What protocol does the data link layer use(for stream control only)？The stop-and-wait ？ Then where can I find the detail code？

The serial communication use data packet format as following：your packet is frame ?why don't use other frame format，just according to the Pc network ？
