[Tinyos-help] tinyos 1.x help required

Hi All:

        I am using TinyOS 1.x and I have a query about Surge application
which a multihop protocol based application. When I run this application, in
start it broadcasts the packets for neighbor table update but it continues
on sending these packets for a long time in my case it is 85 sim seconds.
And after this time the nodes start sending packets to the other nodes
toward the base station which is node 0.Can I reduce this time because it is
a long time and simulation starts packet sending after a long delay. Any
help…
