[Tinyos-help] finer granularity for timer

Hi all,
 
When we use "call Timer.start(TIMER_ONE_SHOT, period)" in TinyOS, the period
is in the unit of mili-second. Is there any equivalent function that
achieves a granularity of 1 micro-second or a comparable order? Thanks.
