[Tinyos-help] Help with 32k Hz Timer and Reset

Hello Friends , Previously i was using tinyos 1.x , i have just moved to
tinyos 2.x . I need some help on below given topics.
I AM WORKING ON TELOSB PLATFORM.

1)Timer . I need a timer instance which should have precision of 32Khz .
ie  32768 ticks per second. Which component i should use.
I have found 2 options . i) Msp430Timer32khzC() component which
provides MSP430Timer interface. But this is HAL level component. Doesnt come
with commands like Startperiodic , StartOneShot.

Other one is to use Alarm32khz32C which provides interface Alarm<32khz> .

Has anybody used timer for this level precision ? is possible give some
example to configure.

2)Reset . In T1 there was ResetC interface provided . which is not in T2.
Which interface should i use for software reset command ??
