[Tinyos-help] microphone sampling tinyos

Hi All
I have been able to use the ReadStream to sample microphone through the ADC
using an MTS310 sensorboard and MICA2 motes.
I wanted to know what is the maximum sampling I can get using ReadStream ..
this interface from my knowledge is similar to the getcontinousdata
interface of T1 and thus similar hardware response can be expected...

So I wanted to know if anyone has used this hardware for audio sampling and
can tell me the maximum that I can get out of this hardware ..

I also have a few IRIS motes if they can provide me better sampling ...

I have seen SoundRecorder application in T1 contrib but not sure of the
hardware that was used in that (they were able to get 14/16 Khz) ...
