                        IEEE GLOBECOM 2009 Call for Papers
                        Extended to 31 March 2009


                        IEEE GLOBECOM -- the premier telecommunications events -- covers the entire range of communications technologies, offering in-depth information on the latest developments in voice, data, image and multimedia.

                        IEEE GLOBECOM will feature 11 Technical Symposia, Tutorials, Workshops, a Design & Developers Forum and the Communications EXPO, including various Business, Technology and Industry fora, and vendor exhibits.

                        We invite you to submit papers for IEEE GLOBECOM's acclaimed Technical Program in the following areas of communications:
                              - Ad Hoc, Sensor & Mesh Networking   - Next Generation Networking & Internet  
                              - Information System Security   - Optical Networks & Systems  
                              - Communication Theory   - Signal Processing  
                              - QoS, Reliability & Performance Modeling   - Wireless Communications  
                              - Communications Software & Services   - Wireless Networking  
                              - Selected Areas: Cognitive Radio Networks, Access Systems & Networks, 
                                Consumer Networks, Data Storage and Satellite & Space Communications  



                          Technical paper submissions are due by 31 March 2009.

                        Submissions are also welcomed for Tutorials, Workshops and Special Sessions on the History of Telecommunications.


                        Tutorials: Proposals for half-day and full-day presentations on conference topics are due by 31 March 2009.

                        Workshops: Proposals on the latest technical and business issues in communications and networking topics are due by 31 March 2009.

                        Special Sessions: Submissions on historical developments in telecommunications are due by 31 March 2009.
