[Tinyos-help] Creating a 32Khz Counter

Hi

I am currently working on porting TinyOS to a new platform. The MCU is the MSP430 however there is no external 32khz crystal oscillator.
The DCO is configured to run at 1Mhz.　The platform requires the SMCLK to stay at 1Mhz for UART. 
Could someone please suggest what would be the easiest way to create the required 32Khz counter?
