Also, it looks like Sourceforge has a scheduled 36 hour developer  
downtime starting today (8/9): there is no CVS access.

I've made the file name changes to most of the components; the one  
exception is the ATmega code, which David G. said he'd finish up. As  
soon as CVS comes back up, I'm going to start tagging for the  
prerelease. The prerelease apps will determine which components are  
included (the minimal set to support the apps).
